Here is another epic science fiction movies that I have watched for many years. The first one has debut in 1978. You may recognize this iconic science fiction film produced by George Lucas. This movie is the fourth episode of the saga that has spanned many years in another galaxy.
In this galaxy; several galactic nations were at war with one another over control of the other, and that there is war between those who used to the force for either good or evil.
Many of you do recognize these films by now as I describe them. It is called “Star Wars”.
Star Wars depicts the plethora of characters such as Luke Skywalker, Obe-Wan Kenobe, Yoda, Princess Leia, R2-D2, C3P0, Han Solo, and let’s not forget the iconic persona of evil, Darth Vader.
As many of you know by now; you’d hear the cybernetic mechanism of Darth Vader’s breathing as he would be contemplating his next move or plan.
The original filmography of Star Wars is so fantastic in my opinion. It was mostly miniaturizing of models before the advent of computer-generated-imagery (or CGI for short). I have seen all six episodes of Star Wars, and I would prefer the orignal ones better than the CGI versions. The episodes four to six is great compared to the first three episodes (episodes one to three).
So I am not going to get into the controversy of which is better so I leave those arguments to you readers to argue among yourselves rather than throwing flaming comments at me because I can just not approve them.
Anyway; Star Wars is an epic saga of how both persona of good and evil would use the force that spanned many years of several generations, and how it culminates into the all-out war of epic proportion in another galaxy. My opinion is that I prefer the original over the CGI version because they are in line with the story. There you have the iconic Luke Skywalker along with most of his family, and also Darth Vader who was blinded by evil. Yes, we know that he is Luke’s and Leia’s father.
My favorite character of all time is actually Darth Vader. It ‘s not only that he is blinded by his anger and evil, but also that he has cybernetic components that does remind me of the Borg. Hey, don’t tell I said that. Darth Vader is an independent individual who leads the vast army of the Stormtroopers. Even if he is independent; he is dependent upon the dark side of the force and its leader was Palpitine who had led him to the dark side. To me; Darth Vador represents strength, pride, decisiveness, logical, and self-assurance despite the fact that he get angry whenever he is cornered or he would “force-choke” someone who disagree with him or his plan.
So in conclusion, I like Star Wars because of its excellent original films and characterization by George Lucas who produced those films. I like Darth Vader for who he is. I like the film because of its epic story-telling about the galactic war.
I believe this concludes this blog entry for this day. So be efficient.
