We have a Rottweiler-mix dog named Seven of Nine. Yes, she is named after the Star Trek: Voyager character, Seven of Nine.
The reason why I’ve picked this name is that it is one of my favorite Star Trek characters. So now we have Seven for over a year now, and she is doing very well.
We did have a dog named Barney, a Poodle-mix that passed away on December 24th, 2008 after we’d had him since April 12th, 1997. Yes, we’d had him for a very long time, and he has had a very good life between us and my grandparents, George and Penny.
So it has been a few years for us to recover from our loss of Barney before we hav decided on getting another dog last year. I was thinking of getting another small dog, well-trained and easy to take care of. Well, we ended up with the Rottweiler instead when I’ve the photo of the before mentioned canine. She is a well-trained house and yard pet. She listens very well. Of course, my mother’s trying to play favorites with her Jack-Russel dog, Bolt. Anyway; it was on July of 2013 when we got her from Ken’s co-worker whose niece had moved into an apartment and was looking for someone who would take care of Seven. Seven’s earlier name was “Princess”, but Seven has warmed up to her new name quite readily so.
So my husband and I have adopted her since. Seven does love car-rides and she enjoys fetching balls. She’d always misplaces those tennis balls. She also like to stay outside with either my husband or me until either one of us would say something in the lines of, “Okay, I’m going in.” or, “Ready to drink some water? Okay, let’s go.” She also likes to play with those plastic bottles or jugs and chase after a bird when she sees one. So she is an active canine.
So for now, this is about what is going on with our canine creature of Earth.
So take care and be efficient.
