It is one of those interesting comedic science fiction TV shows that I remembered watching when I was a kid. I remembered watching them as re-runs on syndicated television channels when they no longer aired on network channels.
You could say that I was one of those oldies who have remembered the older TV shows such as “Lost In Space”
Lost In Space is one of those classic television shows that are watched by kids and young adults in the baby-boom era. Lost In Space is about the Robinson family who were on the what is called a “sleeper” ship on a very long journey to a distant planet that was charted. Apparently; the circumstances have arose during one of the legs of the deep space journey that has caused the ship to veer off-course to unknown space.
So that begans the series of many discoveries, snafus, and strange anomalies as they travelled in uncharted deep space as they struggled to find their way back on course back to Earth, if at all possible.
The crew consists of the Robinson family who are Dad, Mom, Penny, and Will; Dr. Smith who has smuggled himself onto the ship; and a robot which is unnamed. The characters are the interesting combination of strength, loyalty, and the ability to solve problems. But that is all that I remember of the names of the crew are actually on the ship.
So this is one of the science fiction shows that I have watched for some time as a kid. I now have the DVD set of the TV series as well as a movie of how it all began. It is quite an interesting show to watch.
Anyway; I think this is about it for now till the next time I blog again on this Blorg site.
