Since July 21st is Ken’s birthday so I am going to write a birthday blog about him. A basic history about his life.
Ken Jon Taylor is born in Manhattan, Kansas on July 21st, 1957. So he is born a "Jay-Hawk" after a state bird in Kansas.
He has entered the world in a rather unexpected manner even though his mother knew that she was pregnant with him. His mother has never experiencedd menstrual pain, nor labor pain so it is up to her twin sister Ruth to have those empathic pains to pick up the phone to tell Barbra that a baby is about to be born any moment.
So Ken Jon Taylor was born to William Henry and Barbra Taylor Jr. on July 21 of 1975.
Ken is a fourth of seven children. Three older brothers, and two younger sisters and a brother.
So he was born and grew up in Manhattan, Kansas. He has also grew up as a military brat living in Kansas, Germany, and California before settling, at last, in Florida in 1970.
He has worked at a fast food restaurant called "Burger Chef" while he was in high school.
He has joined the Marines soon after he has graduated from Maynard Evans High School in Pinehills, Florida.
So Ken has served in the Marines for 2 years 4 months, 2 days with the honorable discharge. Not often this happens to any military personnel in those days. He has been to Okinawa, Japan for some time before returning to the United States.
Ken moved to Beuford, South Carolina before he has moved to Neban, North Carolina, and moving to Burlington, North Carolina.
Then, Ken moved to Deltona, Florida in 1989 where he began working at National Aerospace.
So Ken has lived in Florida ever since he has moved to Deltona for a few years before he has met Tracy in May 1992 at a block party put out by a co-worker from National Aerospace.
Ken and Tracy has dated for four months till they were engaged to be married the next year.
They were married in September 4th, 1993 and they are still married even to this day. Naturally, he has moved in with Tracy in Deland, Florida and that where he is living ever since.
So you will be seeing a few blogs about Ken periodically as time progresses such as his quirks, habits, his likes and dislikes, favorite things to do, etc… There is bound to be more blogs about him. 🙂 So let’s say, "Happy Birthday" to Ken. Feel free to post your birthday wishes in comments below this article. He’d much appreciate it.
Here is a small photo album of Ken and I hope you enjoy them.
And this is about it for now till the next blog entry. 🙂
